Ideas for mini-stays at the Maison du Bonheur
Discovering the Val de Saône!
Day 1: Arrival at 5pm at the Maison du Bonheur.
Time to settle in and get to know each other, then relax for a while in the pool, in the garden or in the living room!
It's time to discover the place with a 2km walk along the Saône river in Saint-Bernard.
To finish the day, why not try the local specialities of friture or grenouilles au Colombier or chez Bibet!
Day 2: After a good night's sleep and a good breakfast, there's nothing like a nice bike ride for the day. (with your bikes, our bikes, or rented bikes).
When leaving the house, don't hesitate to make a small diversions to la boulangerie de Saint-Bernard to buy a good sandwich for your lunch.
Let's go for a morning of cycling, through the fields to the parc de Cibeins for a well deserved break in the middle of nature! For the more sporty, don't hesitate to do the health course! Continue your journey to Ars. Don't hesitate to visit the sanctuary town of Ars. It's time for a bite to eat. Your ice cream dessert is waiting for you at the Ars ice cream parlour...
Then head back to Trévoux, wander through the narrow streets and traboules and discover the village's creative craftsmen. If you want to know a little bit of history, don't hesitate to go to the tourist office. Then head to the banks of the Saône for a nice boat trip with Inzeboat. It's time to return along the banks of the Saône. Finally, enjoy the terrace of the Maison du Bonheur and treat yourself
to a meal!
Day 3: After this beautiful day of sports discovery, discover the banks of the Saône on a gyropode. To close this morning, taste local products on the banks of the Saône aux petites voiles à Parcieux. Finish your day by trying water skiing on the Saône... You have had a great stay on the banks of the Saône!

Day 2: After a good night's sleep and a good breakfast, set off to discover the Dombes. When leaving the house, don't hesitate to make a small diversions to the bakery of Saint-Bernard to buy a good sandwich for your lunch break.
Go to the tourist office of Châtillon sur Chalaronne for about 2 hours of walking and discovering the city... Magnificent... After this beautiful walk, go to the
jardin aquatique of Saint Didier sur Chalaronne. Choose one of the tables in the park and enjoy your picnic in this haven of peace... It's time for a walk, go to Sandrans for a little carriage ride, you will see the owner is passionate about his region, don't forget to book the tasting... And to finish this day well, do not hesitate to go to Joyeux to taste the local products at the bicyclette bleue...
Day 3: After this beautiful day, you know all the history of the ponds, it is time to understand the history of the region. Go to the tourist office of Trévoux, the capital of the Dombes to discover its history and enjoy a quick meal on the banks of the Saône at the
maison bleue in Trévoux... You have had a wonderful stay in the Dombes!

Day 1: Arrival at 5pm at the Maison du Bonheur. Time to settle in, get to know each other and relax! It's time to discover and taste the wines, meet Mr Brondel at the cellar of the domaines des crêtes, he will make you discover the best wines of the golden stones...
Finish your day in style by tasting the specialities of a bistronomic restaurant:
Day 2: After a good night's sleep and a good breakfast, get into a 2 CV and drive to Charnay then take the la route du Beaujolais in the opposite direction... Discover the authentic villages of the Beaujolais, then stop at the la cave de Jonnery for a small tasting. Then sit down at the côte de Brouilly table to taste the traditional Lyonnaise dishes.
Continue your journey by finishing at the terrasse de Chrirouble...
You still have time to finalise your discovery of Beaujolais at hameau Duboeuf... You finish your day at the restaurant of the Duboeuf hamlet to taste the charcuterie of Bobosse!!
Day 3: After this beautiful day, you have met all the small villages of the Beaujolais, it is time to discover the Beaujolais by air. Rendez-vous in Frontenas at the aerodrome for a little helicopter ride....
Then continue your journey to Villefranche, the capital of the Beaujolais, let yourself be carried away by the circuit of hidden treasures and enjoy a small meal au saladier in one of the renaissance courtyards .... You have had a wonderful stay in the Beaujolais!
