Hammeau Duboeuf Romanèche-Thorins
Between Beaujolais and Burgundy, in the village of Romanèche-Thorins, 20 kilometres from Mâcon, the Hameau Duboeuf is an invitation to travel in Beaujolais.
Between a museum and a leisure park, you can experience the history of Beaujolais wines. With the family? You will love strolling through the garden and its rosalies, but also letting yourself be led through the vineyards in the company of illustrious characters such as Paul Bocuse or Bernard Pivot. And don't forget to take to the skies above the Beaujolais vineyards on the back of a bee! For older children, investigate in the footsteps of Bacchus: an escape game in the heart of the Park! Wine lovers? the Hameau is also a source of knowledge: Gamay and Chardonnay grape varieties, winemaking methods, history of the Beaujolais AOCs, geology and terroir, through attractions, collections and 3D films, the museum reveals the secrets of vines and wine. A new attraction, the immersive show "Mon Beaujolais" tells the story of Toine, a Beaujolais winemaker. Images, visual and sound effects take you on a journey through the ages of the vineyard. At the end of the tour, a wine tasting awaits you: Beaujolais, Beaujolais-Villages, Brouilly, Chiroubles, Chénas, Côte de Brouilly, Fleurie, Juliénas, Morgon, Moulin-à-Vent, Régnié, Saint-Amour - you're bound to find an appellation to your taste! You can also eat in the heart of the station hall at the Café des Deux Horloges, where traditional dishes, Beaujolais specialities and Beaujolais wines will delight you.
